All the fun of the fair
Our Collectors Toy & Train Fair on Sunday 23rd March saw a combination of good weather, a great selection of merchandise, plenty of bargains and lots of happy customers. As organisers, we were delighted to see so many people attend our event. At £1 admission for adults ( accompanied children free ) it has to be one of the best value toy fairs in the Uk. Thanks to everyone that came along and a special thank you to everyone that helped us advertise our event.
Who's that then
In last months blog I mentioned the fact that currently new diecast manufacturers are popping up all the time. On compiling this months Vectis auctions highlights I was amazed how many makers of old models I had not heard of. Gamda, JRD and CIJ for example. See them on our Auction page.

Exciting News for bus collectors
Bachman PLC have announced five new open top models in their Sea Dog range amongst which is the Western National / NBC MCW Leyland Atlantean Bus. EFE Road Model Description: This model depicts registration 926GTA “Sir Francis Drake” in its post-1973 condition as fleet number 926, complete with lower route blind.
The model is finished in NBC Poppy Red and White with Western National branding, operating on service 514 to Penzance. It also features period advertising on the original-style rear engine bustle, and separately fitted destination banner boards on the body sides that carries "Penzance - Gurnard's Head - Zennor - St Ives" route points.
